Mystic™ hops feedback
I’ve used Mystic™ before in a big Kveik IPA and the beer turned out great. So I wanted to do a single hop beer with it to see what it brought to the beer.
The first thing I got from the hops was a nice resinous orange flavour, which then becomes a general citrus flavour with hints of blackcurrant. Another flavour also comes through, and the closest flavour I can match it to is almond which I quite liked and felt it added more complexity to the beer.
All of this makes it a great hop for a single hop beer.
